Doppelgänger is a design studio co-founded by Charlotte Böhning and Mary Lempres in 2022. A doppelgänger is a biologically unrelated look-alike. The duo explore the seemingly unrelated phenomena of art and science, unearthing their commonalities and connections through design.
Doppelgänger has received awards and recognition from Google Hardware, The BioDesign Challenge, WM, The Slow Factory, Lexus, Parson’s Healthy Material Lab, and Pratt’s Material Lab. They have been featured in Forbes, Dezeen, DesignBoom, Metalocus, and Metropolis Magazine.
